Meet the mama behind Creative Mama
Hello, I’m Monika — a mum and the person behind Creative Mama Gift Shop. I run our small family business with my partner in Hull, and together we bring your personalised orders to life.
A plaque for a newborn’s first photograph. A bedroom sign with a child’s name. A keyring carrying the names of someone’s grandchildren. These may be small objects, but the stories behind them mean so much.
That personal connection is at the heart of our work. When you contact us, you’re speaking to the people who help create your gift, so we can talk through the details with you.
How we create your personalised keepsake
Our work combines digital design, laser cutting and engraving with the care of a small, hands-on team. Many of our pieces are made from birch plywood, with natural grain that gives each wooden keepsake its own character.
Depending on the design, your chosen name, date or message might be engraved into the wood or added as raised lettering. We prepare your personalised design, create the piece and carefully pack it for its journey to you.
Not sure which font to choose or how a name will look? Design previews are available on request, and we’re happy to help you explore the options before your gift is made.

Orders are usually dispatched the next working day, with express delivery options available at checkout. Ordering for a particular date? Contact us beforehand so we can advise on the available options. Delivery time is additional to the time needed to make your order.
