This Hello World plaque is made to order by our small family business. Choose your size and name colour, then add an optional engraved middle name or surname for a keepsake that belongs to your little one.

Choose your size and name colour

Choose Pastel Blue, Pastel Pink, White, Beige, Grey, Brown or Sage Green for the raised lettering. The plaque background remains natural wood; the greeting, additional names and teddy bear are engraved. Use the colour and size guides in our photographs to choose your favourite combination.

How to personalise your Hello World sign

1. Select a size and colour. Your colour choice is for the raised lettering.
2. Enter the raised first name or word. For example, Noah or Elsie-Mae. This field is required.
3. Add engraved middle names or a surname, if wanted. For example, James Richardson. Leave this field blank for a first-name-only plaque.
4. For different wording or a date, contact us before ordering. Once we have agreed the layout, enter the exact greeting, date and any instructions in the optional custom-request field.
5. Check the spelling, spaces, hyphens and capitalisation before checkout. We personalise your plaque using the details you submit.

A pregnancy reveal before you've chosen a name

You can also use this round keepsake as a personalised pregnancy announcement sign. Enter Baby as the raised word and your family name in the engraved-name field, for example Baby Richardson. It is a lovely way to share your news with grandparents or photograph your announcement. For a Coming soon greeting or a due-date layout, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the wording and fit.

Made to keep

Your order includes one personalised wooden disc. Photograph it with a favourite blanket, hold it beside your little one for a name reveal, or display it safely with their other keepsakes. Styling accessories shown in the photographs are not included.

What is a Hello World sign used for?

Which parts are raised and which are engraved?

The first name or word entered in the required field is made in raised 3D lettering and painted in your chosen colour. Optional middle names or a surname are engraved beneath it. The greeting and teddy bear are engraved into the wood.

Can I add a middle name and surname?

Yes. Enter them in the separate engraved-name field, for example James Richardson. Leave that field blank for a first-name-only design like the Noah hero photograph. Additional names are engraved rather than raised.

Can I use it as a pregnancy announcement sign?

Yes. If you have not chosen a first name, enter Baby as the raised word and your family name in the engraved-name field. Contact us before ordering if you would like a Coming soon greeting or a due-date layout, then enter the agreed wording in the custom-request field.

What wording will I receive if I leave the custom-request field blank?

The standard design has Hello World and my name is, your raised name or word, any additional names you enter, and the engraved teddy bear. Leaving the engraved-name field blank means no extra name is added beneath the raised lettering.

Can I change Hello World or add a date?

For a different greeting, date or layout, please contact us before ordering so we can check it will fit. Once agreed, write the exact wording and date in the custom-request field. We use the spelling and date format you provide.

Are double-barrelled and longer names possible?

You can enter a double-barrelled name such as Elsie-Mae in the raised-name field. Letter size and spacing are adjusted to suit the name and plaque size. If you want several words raised, or have a particularly long name, please check the layout with us before ordering.

Which colours can I choose?

The raised lettering is available in Pastel Blue, Pastel Pink, White, Beige, Grey, Brown and Sage Green. The round background keeps its natural wood finish. Your colour selection applies to the raised name, while the other details are engraved.

What sizes are available?

Regular measures 12 × 12 cm, Medium 17 × 17 cm and XL 20 × 20 cm. These are the overall dimensions of the round plaque. See the size-guide photograph to compare all three.

Is it suitable for a boy or a girl?

Yes. The teddy bear design works with every name colour. Choose soft pink or blue, or a neutral shade such as White, Beige, Grey, Brown or Sage Green.

Will my plaque look exactly like the example photographs?

The photographs show example names and colours. Your plaque is personalised with your own details. Natural wood grain and engraved tones vary slightly, and the lettering is arranged to suit the length of your name. Screen settings can also affect how colours appear.

What is included in my order?

One personalised round wooden plaque in the size and name colour you select. Blankets, clothing, toys and other styling accessories shown in the photographs are not included.

Can I give it as a new baby or baby shower gift?

Yes. It makes a personalised keepsake for new parents. If the name has not been decided, a Baby and family-name design is an option. Check the recipient's preferred spelling before placing your order.

How long does dispatch take, and is UK delivery free?

UK delivery is free. Orders are usually dispatched the next working day, as shown on our product page. Dispatch is the time we send your parcel, rather than its arrival date. Please check the delivery information and contact us before ordering if you need it for a particular day.

Can I correct my personalisation after ordering?

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the exact correction. We will check whether production has started. We cannot guarantee changes once your personalised plaque is being made, so please check every field before checkout.

How should I care for and display it?

Keep the plaque dry and gently remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. It is a decorative photo prop and keepsake, not a toy. Keep it out of children's reach and remove it from a cot or sleeping area after taking your photograph.
