Personalised Baby's First Christmas Bauble

A personalised keepsake for baby's first Christmas

Celebrate those first twinkling lights and family traditions with a personalised baby's first Christmas bauble, made with your little one's name and the year of their first festive season. The raised, hand-painted 3D name stands out against natural birch wood, while “First Christmas” and your chosen year are laser engraved beneath it.

With its Christmas tree, snowflakes and bow detail, this wooden ornament makes a thoughtful first Christmas gift for a baby, new parents or proud grandparents. Hang it on the tree this December, then bring it out each year as a reminder of where your family Christmas story began.

What makes it special

• Raised 3D first name: cut separately and hand-painted in your chosen colour.
• Personalised year: a permanent engraved reminder of their first Christmas.
• Eight name colours: Pastel Pink, Pastel Blue, White, Lavender, Christmas Red, Forest Green, Gold or Silver.
• Your ribbon choice: Pastel Pink or Pastel Blue satin ribbon for hanging.
• Natural wooden finish: made from 3 mm birch plywood, approximately 12 cm wide × 12.5 cm high, excluding the ribbon.
• Made to order in the UK by our small family business, with free UK delivery.

How to personalise your first Christmas bauble

1. Choose your ribbon colour: Pastel Pink or Pastel Blue.
2. Choose the colour of the raised name from the eight options.
3. Enter your baby's first name and the four-digit year in the personalisation box. Example: Name: Noah | Year: 2026.
4. Check the spelling and year before adding to your basket.

The colour choice applies to the raised name only. The bauble base stays natural birch wood; the tree, snowflakes, bow and engraved wording are not painted in the name colour. Name and ribbon colours can be chosen independently. “First Christmas” is included, so you only need to provide the name and year.

A first Christmas gift to bring out year after year

Choose soft pastel blue or pink for a gentle nursery-inspired look, white or lavender for a softer Christmas tree palette, or red, green, gold or silver for a festive finish. This personalised baby Christmas ornament is a lovely gift from grandparents, godparents, aunties and uncles, or a keepsake for your own baby.

Frequently asked questions

What can I personalise?

Your baby's first name and the year. You also choose the raised name colour and ribbon colour. The Christmas tree design and “First Christmas” wording stay as shown.

Is the name engraved or raised?

The first name is a separate, raised wooden layer, hand-painted in your selected colour. “First Christmas” and the year are laser engraved into the natural wooden base.

Is the whole bauble painted?

No. Only the raised name is painted. The base remains natural birch plywood, with visible wood grain and darker laser-cut edges.

Which colours can I choose?

The name is available in Pastel Pink, Pastel Blue, White, Lavender, Christmas Red, Forest Green, Gold and Silver. The satin ribbon is available in Pastel Pink or Pastel Blue. See the colour guide in the photos.

Does the ribbon have to match the name?

No. Select them separately. For example, you can choose a white name with a blue ribbon, or a Christmas red name with a pink ribbon.

Can I choose a different year?

Yes. Enter the four-digit year you want engraved. The photos show 2026 as an example; you can select a previous or future year.

How should I enter the personalisation?

Include both details clearly, for example: Name: Elsie | Year: 2026. Please check spelling carefully. For two names or an unusual layout, contact us before ordering so we can confirm what will fit.

How big is the bauble?

Approximately 12 cm wide × 12.5 cm high, excluding the hanging ribbon. It is made from 3 mm birch plywood with an additional raised name layer.

What is included?

One personalised wooden first Christmas bauble and your selected satin hanging ribbon. Other decorations and props in the photos are for styling.

Will the wood and colour look exactly like the photos?

Each wooden keepsake has its own natural grain, and hand-painted finishes can vary slightly. Colours may also look different on individual screens.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are usually dispatched the next working day. Delivery is separate from dispatch; check the current delivery information and order early during the Christmas season.

How do I care for my wooden ornament?

Display indoors, keep dry and wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Store carefully wrapped between Christmases to protect the cut-out details and raised name. This is a keepsake decoration, not a toy.
