The wording and names follow the script-and-capitals style shown in the photographs. All lettering is engraved into the wood; it is not printed or raised. Longer wording may be made smaller to fit the design neatly. Each order contains one keyring, rather than a pair.

How to personalise your first home keyring

1. Wording on the house: keep “Our First Home” or replace it with a short phrase such as “My First Home” or “Our New Home”. This is the main wording on the house-shaped tag.
2. Name(s) on the house: enter exactly what you want beneath the main wording, for example “Mia & John” or “Sophie”. Include any “&”, “and” or other punctuation you want engraved.
3. Date on the key charm: enter the date exactly as you would like it to appear, for example “09/10/2026” or “09.10.2026”. This is engraved on the separate small wooden key.
4. Check your details: review spelling, capitals, punctuation and the date before adding the keyring to your basket. Put only the text to be engraved in each field.

Dispatch and delivery

We dispatch on the same working day where possible, and no later than the next working day after receiving payment and complete personalisation details. If a design needs approval, this timing starts once it is approved. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays; any planned closure is shown before ordering.

Free standard UK delivery normally uses Royal Mail 2nd Class without full tracking. Allow approximately 2–4 working days after dispatch as a guide, not a guaranteed arrival date. Available paid delivery upgrades and their charges are shown at checkout. A faster postal service does not remove the time needed to make your keyring.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose My First Home instead of Our First Home?

Yes. Replace the default wording in “Wording on the house” with “My First Home”, “Our New Home” or another short phrase. Please contact us first for substantially longer wording or a different layout.

Can it have one name rather than two?

Yes. Enter one name, two names or your chosen short name wording in “Name(s) on the house”. It appears beneath the main phrase on the house tag.

Where does the date go?

Your date is engraved on the separate small wooden key charm. It does not go beneath the names on the house. You can use the day you collected the keys, moved in or completed the purchase.

Is this one keyring or a matching pair?

This listing is for one personalised keyring, including the wooden house tag, dated wooden key charm and metal ring. Order a quantity of two if you want two with the same details. For different personalisation, add each keyring to your basket separately.

Can I choose a font or colour?

This design uses the script-and-capitals lettering shown in the photos, engraved into natural birch plywood. Font and painted colour choices are not part of this listing.

Will the wood and engraving look identical to the photos?

The layout follows the photographed design and is adjusted to suit your wording. Natural wood grain, tone and engraved shading can vary slightly between pieces.

How do I look after my wooden keyring?

Keep it dry and wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking it, abrasive cleaners or prolonged exposure to moisture.

Can I change my details after ordering?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number. We can help with changes or cancellation before production begins. Once production has started, a personalised item cannot be returned simply because you change your mind. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly made. What if my order has not arrived or arrives damaged?

Email [email protected] with your order number and what has happened. We will help investigate and arrange the appropriate solution. Photos are helpful for damage, where possible.
