Personalised Football Door Sign

Give their favourite football fan a room with their name on it. This personalised football door sign combines a raised, painted name with three black football-player silhouettes, natural wood and crisp engraved lettering. Hang it on a bedroom door or display it on the wall as the finishing touch to a football-themed room.

Each wooden name plaque is made to order by our small family business in Hull, UK. Choose the size and name colour, then tell us the child's first name. For the standard design, simply enter Harvey and leave the engraved wording as ROOM: we make Harvey’s ROOM.

A football bedroom sign made just for them

• Raised 3D name: painted lettering adds depth and makes their name the centre of the design.
• Football detail: three black player silhouettes above the name, with a natural wooden background.
• Engraved wording: ROOM is engraved into the wood beneath the name; it is not a raised layer.
• Three sizes and eight name colours: choose a combination that suits their door, bedroom wall or playroom.
• Sticky pads included: ready to attach to a suitable indoor surface.

It makes a thoughtful personalised football gift for boys or girls, whether you are shopping for a birthday, Christmas, a new bedroom or a young player who loves the game. The design works with both colourful football bedrooms and quieter nursery décor.

How to personalise your football name plaque

1. Choose a size: Regular, Large or XL. Check the measurements below and the size guide in the photos.
2. Choose the name colour: this colour applies to the raised name only.
3. Enter the child's first name: for example, Harvey, Noah or Oliver. Enter the name only; do not add “’s” or “ROOM” in this box.
4. Check the engraved wording: leave ROOM for the design shown in the photos. If you would like an additional name or different short wording engraved beneath the raised name, replace ROOM in the separate wording box.
5. Check the spelling and your selections before adding the sign to your basket.

Example order: First name: Harvey · Size: Large (28x17cm) · Name colour: White · Engraved wording: ROOM.
Finished sign: Harvey’s in raised white lettering, ROOM engraved below, and black football-player silhouettes.

Only the first name is made in the raised 3D style. Additional names, surnames or other short wording entered in the engraved wording box are engraved into the wood. The standard room design includes the possessive ending shown in the photos. For an unusual layout or a longer message, contact us before ordering so we can check the design with you.

Sizes and prices

Measurements are approximate. The shape, lettering and overall proportions vary with the length of the name. Please measure your chosen space before ordering; room settings in the photos are styling examples.

Choose your raised name colour

White, Pastel Blue, Red, Forest Green, Beige, Navy Blue, Grey or Gold. The wood background stays natural and the football-player silhouettes stay black. See the colour guide in the gallery and the colour choices above the name field. Screen settings and lighting can affect how a shade appears, while natural wood grain varies between signs.

Displaying and caring for your sign

Use the included sticky pads on a suitable clean, dry indoor surface. Check that your chosen adhesive is suitable for the wall or door finish, particularly wallpaper, textured surfaces or freshly painted areas. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep the wooden plaque away from moisture. This is an indoor decoration; display it securely out of children's reach.

Frequently asked questions

What should I type in the name box?

Enter the child's first name only, up to 30 characters. For example, type Noah rather than Noah’s Room. Leave the separate engraved wording box as ROOM for the standard Noah’s ROOM design.

Can I add a second name or change the engraved wording?

Yes. Enter the additional name, surname or short wording in the separate engraved wording box, up to 40 characters. This replaces ROOM beneath the raised name and is engraved, rather than raised. Contact us first if you need a more complex layout.

Are all the letters raised?

The first name is raised and painted in your selected colour. The wording beneath it is engraved into the wood, creating the clean ROOM detail shown in the photos.

Can I choose the colour of the football players or wood background?

The eight colour choices are for the raised name. The black football-player silhouettes and natural wooden background are part of this design.

Which size should I choose?

Measure the available space on your door or wall, then compare it with the Regular, Large and XL measurements above. The gallery includes a size guide. Name length can change the final proportions.

Will a hyphenated or longer first name fit?

You can enter a hyphenated name in the first-name box. The lettering is arranged to suit the name and selected size. For a particularly long name or two names that you want raised together, please contact us before ordering.

How do I attach the plaque?

Sticky pads are included. Use them on a suitable clean, dry indoor surface and check compatibility with your wall or door finish before attaching the sign.

Is it suitable as a birthday or Christmas gift?

Yes. A custom football room sign makes a personal gift for a young football fan and a useful finishing touch for a bedroom makeover.

Where is it made and when will it be sent?

We make each sign to order in Hull, UK. We usually dispatch on the same or next working day after receiving payment and complete personalisation details, unless a different processing time is shown. Working days exclude UK bank holidays.
