How to personalise your plant labels

1. Choose your set size. This is the number of individual markers you will receive. Basket quantity is the number of identical sets.
2. Enter the wording for each marker. Add one plant name or short message per marker. For a set of 5, enter five names: Basil, Mint, Thyme, Oregano and Parsley. Repeated names are welcome — enter them separately for each marker.
3. Choose the illustration style. Select matching plant illustrations or text only. For specific artwork, choose custom illustration requests and explain which design belongs to which marker. Please contact us before ordering if you need unusual or detailed artwork.
4. Check spelling. We engrave the wording you provide, so please check every name and any capital letters before adding your set to the basket.

Materials & care

Made from natural birch plywood, each marker has its own grain and tone, with a dark laser-cut edge. Small variations are part of the character of wood.

Wood is not waterproof. Keep markers in indoor pots or sheltered growing spaces, avoid soaking and prolonged contact with very wet soil, and keep the engraved head above the soil. Remove markers before watering where practical and let them dry fully. They are not intended for permanent exposure to rain or waterlogged beds.

Frequently asked questions

Can every marker have a different name?

Yes. You can personalise every marker in your set with different wording, or repeat a name on more than one label. Complete one entry for each marker.

Can I mix herb and vegetable labels in one set?

Yes. Mix herbs, vegetables, flowers and houseplant names to suit what you grow. There is no fixed list of plant names.

Are illustrations included?

Choose matching plant illustrations for botanical line art, or text only for wording without a graphic. If you want specific artwork, select custom illustration requests and list your instructions. Contact us first for unusual designs so we can confirm what is possible.

Can I add a name or a funny message instead of a plant name?

Yes, short custom wording is welcome. Choose text only or explain your preferred illustration. Keep messages short for easy reading; longer text may be reduced in size.

How many markers do I need to personalise?

Enter one name or message for each marker in your selected set. For example, a set of 10 needs ten entries. Basket quantity 2 means two identical sets with the same personalisation. For sets with different wording, personalise and add each set separately.

What size are the markers?

Each marker is approximately 7 cm wide and 12 cm tall overall, including its stem, and is cut from 3 mm birch plywood.

Are these wooden plant markers waterproof?

No. Natural plywood needs protection from prolonged moisture. We recommend indoor pots or sheltered spaces. Avoid soaking, standing water and permanent outdoor exposure.

When will my order be dispatched?

We usually dispatch personalised orders the next working day. Dispatch is when your order leaves us, rather than the delivery date. Free UK delivery is included; see our shipping information for current delivery estimates.

Will I receive the plants or gift packaging shown?

Your purchase includes the personalised markers in your selected set size. Plants, pots, gift boxes and decorative props shown in the photos are not included.
