Make it theirs

Choose a size, then enter the exact name you would like engraved. Fletcher and Amelia are example names only and will be replaced by the name you provide. You do not need to type “Hello World”, “my name is” or ask for the rainbow: these are part of the standard design.

1. Name to engrave: enter the complete name exactly as you want it to appear, including capitals, spaces and any hyphen. For a first name only, enter Fletcher. If you want more than one name, include every name to be engraved in this field.
2. Layout notes, optional: use this only for instructions about the arrangement, such as which name should be most prominent. These notes are instructions and are not engraved as wording. Leave the field blank for the standard layout shown.

The main name is the large script wording in the middle of the plaque. Longer names or several names may need smaller lettering or an adjusted arrangement to fit comfortably. For a specific second line, unusual wording or a different design, contact us before ordering so we can confirm the layout. Please check spelling carefully: we use the wording you supply.

Gallery photo 7 shows the part you personalise and the greeting and rainbow included in the design. A name shown as a field example is there to guide you; it is not an additional name on your order.

Natural birch, engraved detail

The smooth pale birch face keeps the lettering easy to see without covering the wood's character. Your name and the rainbow are engraved into the surface. There is no separate raised name layer, and the rainbow is engraved in the same natural style as the lettering.

Because wood is a natural material, grain patterns and shade can differ from one plaque to another. Small variations in engraving tone are also normal. Close-up photographs help show the material and detail, while lighting and screens can affect how the wood looks.

A name announcement to keep

What's included and how to care for it

Your order contains one engraved wooden plaque in your selected size, personalised with your chosen name. Blankets, books, flowers and other accessories shown in the photographs are styling props. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth and keep the plaque away from water and damp conditions.

This is a decorative keepsake and photo prop, not a toy. Use only under adult supervision, keep it away from baby's face, remove it after photographs and never leave it in a cot or sleep space. For display, choose a secure place out of children's reach.

What can I personalise?

You personalise the name in the middle of the plaque. The standard design includes the Hello World greeting, my name is wording and the small rainbow. Add layout requests in the optional notes field, or contact us first for a different design.

Will Fletcher or Amelia appear on my order?

No. They are examples in the photographs. Your plaque will use the name you enter in the Name to engrave field.

Can I include a middle name or surname?

Yes, enter all names you want engraved in the name field. Use optional layout notes if you have a preferred arrangement. Several names may require smaller lettering or a different arrangement; contact us first if an exact layout is essential.

Do I need to enter Hello World or request the rainbow?

No. Both the greeting and rainbow are included automatically in the standard design. Enter only the name you want personalised.

Are the letters painted or raised?

The lettering and rainbow are laser engraved directly into 3 mm birch plywood. The plaque has a flat wooden face with engraved detail.

Which size should I choose?

Is this a milestone set?

When will my plaque be dispatched?

We usually aim to dispatch on the next working day. Check the current delivery information and available postage options when ordering. Dispatch time and delivery time are separate.

How do I look after the plaque?

Keep it dry, dust with a soft dry cloth and store or display it out of children's reach. It is for supervised photographs and decoration, not play or use in a baby's sleep space.
