Personalised Salaam World Wooden Baby Name Plaque

Welcome your little one with a personalised Salaam World wooden baby name plaque, made to order in our family workshop in Hull, UK. Your baby's name is engraved into natural birch plywood beneath the greeting, with a delicate heart finishing the design. Use it for a first newborn photograph, share their name with loved ones, then keep it as a reminder of those early days.

The warm wood and dark engraved lettering make this round baby name disc a thoughtful Muslim newborn gift or a personal keepsake for your own baby. Choose Salaam World, Salam World or Hello World to suit your family.

A little introduction, made just for them

• Personalised main name: engraved in the large script lettering shown in our photographs.
• Optional extra wording: additional names or a surname on the smaller printed line underneath.
• Your greeting: choose Salaam World, the alternative spelling Salam World, or Hello World.
• Natural material: laser engraved on 3 mm birch plywood with visible grain and a small outlined heart.
• Three size options: Small, Large or XL, selected before adding to your basket.
• Made in the UK: individually personalised by Creative Mama in Hull.

How to personalise your Salaam World plaque

1. Choose your size from the selector.
2. Choose your greeting from the Greeting dropdown. Salaam World is selected by default; Salam World and Hello World are also available.
3. Enter the main name in the required “Name in large script” field, for example Amir. Enter only the wording you want on this large line.
4. Add additional names or a surname in the optional field, for example Zafir. This wording is engraved in smaller print beneath the main name. Leave the field empty for a main-name-only plaque.
5. Check spelling and capital letters before ordering. We use the wording you enter, so please do not include instructions in the name fields.

Example: Greeting: Salaam World · Name in large script: Amir · Additional names / surname: Zafir. Your plaque will read “Salaam World”, “my name is”, “Amir” and “Zafir”, followed by the heart. The “my name is” line and heart are included automatically.

All lettering is engraved directly into the wood. The script and printed fonts follow the photographed design. Longer names may be reduced in size to fit neatly. For different wording, a different layout or a preview before ordering, please contact us first so we can confirm your request.

For their first photograph and the years after

Style your wooden name plaque beside a blanket or newborn outfit for a name announcement photograph. Afterwards, display it on a nursery shelf, add it to a baby memory box, or give it to new parents as a personalised keepsake. The natural finish suits both boys' and girls' nurseries.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose Salam World instead of Salaam World?

Yes. Both spellings are available in the Greeting dropdown, along with Hello World. Choose the exact greeting you want engraved.

Can I order it with just one name?

Yes. Enter the name in the required large-script field and leave “Additional names / surname” empty. The greeting, “my name is” wording and heart remain part of the design.

Where will a middle name or surname appear?

The optional wording appears on the smaller printed line beneath the main name. If you want a double first name together in large script, enter both parts in the main-name field instead.

Are the letters engraved or raised?

The greeting, names and heart are laser engraved into the birch plywood. If you prefer a raised, painted name, explore our personalised wooden balloon announcement sign.

Can I choose another font or add birth details?

This listing uses the script and printed lettering shown in the photos. Dates, birth weights and other layout changes are not included in the standard name fields. Please contact us before ordering if you have a different design in mind.

Which size should I choose?

Small, Large and XL are available in the size selector. The comparison image shows their relative scale. If you need the plaque to fit a particular space or photo setup, contact us to confirm the exact measurements before ordering.

Will my plaque look exactly like the photograph?

The layout follows the example, adjusted to suit your names. Grain, wood tone and engraved shading vary slightly from piece to piece.

When will my personalised plaque be dispatched?

We usually dispatch on the next working day. Dispatch and delivery are separate: check our delivery information for current shipping details. Contact us before ordering if you need it for a particular date.

How should I use and care for it?

Use it as a decorative photo prop under adult supervision and display it out of children's reach. It is a keepsake, not a toy. Keep it dry, use indoors and wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.
