How to personalise your star

1. Baby's name: enter the name only, exactly as you would like it spelt. For example, Olivia or Noah. We add the possessive ending shown in the photographs.
2. Christmas year: enter the four-digit year you want engraved, for example 2026. You can choose a different year.
3. Ribbon colour: select Pink or Blue from the ribbon options.

Example order: Name: Olivia · Year: 2026 · Ribbon: Pink.
The star will read Olivia’s / First Christmas / 2026, with a pink ribbon.

Please check the spelling and year before adding to your basket. Longer names may be sized to fit the star neatly. The “First Christmas” wording is included automatically.

A keepsake to bring out every Christmas

Hang this personalised Christmas tree decoration alongside your family favourites, or give it to new parents to mark their baby's first festive season. The natural wood and simple engraved design suit both traditional and contemporary Christmas trees. Wood grain and tone vary slightly, giving each star its own character.

Frequently asked questions

What can I personalise?

You can choose the baby's name, the Christmas year and a pink or blue ribbon. The star is engraved with the name, “First Christmas” and the year in the layout shown.

Should I enter Olivia or Olivia’s?

Enter the name only, for example Olivia. We add the possessive ending, so the finished engraving reads Olivia’s. Do not add “First Christmas” or the year in the name box.

Can I order a different year?

Yes. Enter the four-digit year you would like engraved in the Christmas year box. The photographs show 2026 as an example.

Is the hanging ribbon included?

Yes. Each star comes with the pink or blue ribbon selected when you order, ready to hang on your Christmas tree.

What is the star made from?

It is laser cut and engraved from natural 3 mm birch plywood. The lettering is engraved into the wood in a dark black finish. Natural grain and the darker laser-cut edge are part of its appearance.

Does the price include two ornaments?

The price is for one personalised star with one ribbon. Photos showing two stars illustrate the ribbon colours and name examples. Add each ornament separately for different names or years.

When will my ornament be dispatched?

Please check the current dispatch information on this product page. Delivery options and estimates are shown at checkout and depend on the service selected.

Can I ask for a preview?

Please contact us before production if you would like us to check your personalisation or provide a preview.

How should I store my wooden star?

Keep it dry and store it indoors between Christmases. Wrap it gently to protect the engraved surface and ribbon.
