Choose your keepsake: keyring or fridge magnet

• Keyring: supplied with a metal split ring and short chain, ready to attach to your keys or changing bag.
• Fridge Magnet: supplied with magnetic backing for displaying on a suitable magnetic fridge door or other magnetic metal surface. This version has no keyring or chain.

Both versions are available in two shapes: Footprint or Baby Vest. The footprint is a ready-made silhouette; the baby vest is a wooden bodysuit shape. Your baby's details make either design personal.

How to personalise your baby birth details keepsake

1. Select Keyring or Fridge Magnet under Product type.
2. Select Footprint or Baby Vest under Design.
3. Enter your baby's details in the labelled personalisation fields. Provide all six details for the complete birth stats design shown in the photos.
4. Check every name, number, unit and date before adding your item to the basket.

• Baby's name: enter the name as you would like it engraved, including the spelling and capitalisation.
• Date of birth: use DD/MM/YYYY, for example 12/01/2025 for 12 January 2025.
• Time of birth: include AM/PM when using a 12-hour time, or use a clear 24-hour time.
• Birth weight: include the unit and write the weight exactly as you would like it engraved.
• Birth length: include the unit, for example 48 cm.
• Place of birth: enter the town or city you would like included, for example Hull.

The name and date of birth are required. Time, weight, length and place of birth are optional; leave a field blank if you do not want that detail included. For the full design, please complete every field.

What birth details can I personalise?

You can add your baby's name, date and time of birth, birth weight, birth length and place of birth. Complete all six fields for the full birth stats design shown in our example photographs.

Is this a keyring or a fridge magnet?

You choose the version before ordering. Select Keyring for a keepsake with a split ring and chain, or Fridge Magnet for a keepsake with magnetic backing. It is supplied as the version you select.

Do I receive both designs or both product types?

No. The price is for one item in one chosen design and product type. To buy a footprint and a baby vest, or a keyring and a magnet, add each combination to your basket separately.

What is the difference between the footprint and baby vest designs?

They are two different wooden shapes with the same personalisation choices. Footprint is a decorative foot silhouette; Baby Vest is a small wooden bodysuit silhouette, rather than an item of clothing.

Do I need to send a photograph or an actual footprint?

No photograph or footprint upload is needed. Choose one of the two ready-made shapes and enter the birth details. The footprint design does not reproduce your baby's actual footprint.

Can I use pounds and ounces, kilograms or centimetres?

Include your preferred units in the weight and length fields. For example, write 6 lb 5 oz, 3.2 kg or 48 cm as appropriate. Check the figures carefully: 6.5 lbs and 6 lb 5 oz are different weights, so enter exactly what you want engraved.

How should I enter the date and time of birth?

Use DD/MM/YYYY for the date to make the day and month clear. For the time, either include AM or PM, such as 8:30pm, or use a 24-hour time such as 20:30. Check the format before ordering.

What if I do not know the birth length or another detail?

The baby's name and date of birth are required. You can leave the optional time, weight, length or place fields blank if you do not want them included. Fill in all six fields if you want the complete example layout.

Can I order keepsakes for twins or more than one baby?

Yes. Each keepsake is personalised for one baby. Enter the first baby's details and add that item to your basket, then repeat with the next baby's details. This keeps the personalisation for each item separate.

How big is the keepsake, and what is it made from?

It is approximately 5 cm and made from 3 mm birch plywood. The exact outline differs between the footprint and baby vest designs. Natural wood grain and engraving colour can vary slightly between items.

Will the magnet work on every fridge?

The magnet needs a magnetic metal surface. Some fridge doors, including some stainless steel finishes, are not magnetic. Test the intended surface with an existing fridge magnet before choosing this version.

Is it a suitable gift for a new mum, dad or grandparent?

Yes. It is a personalised birth keepsake for parents and family, with a choice of a keyring to carry or a fridge magnet to display. Confirm the baby's birth details with the parents if you are ordering it as a gift.

Can I correct a mistake after ordering?

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the correct details. Changes depend on whether your personalised item has already been made, so check the spelling and figures before placing the order.
