A wooden Valentine's card with your own message

The natural birch plywood gives each card its own grain, while the hand-painted wooden hearts add colour and a raised finish. Fine engraved balloon strings connect the design, and your words are engraved directly into the wood. It is a rigid wooden card with a separate slotted base, so it becomes a little display piece after the day itself.

How to personalise your card

Select your Font Style, then complete the three wording fields. The gallery includes a lettering comparison and a personalisation guide.

1. Recipient & top wording: enter the complete heading for the top of the card, such as “With Love / For a Special Girlfriend”. Change the relationship or use your own words. Enter “None” if you do not want a top heading.
2. Main greeting (optional): leave this blank for “Happy Valentine's Day”. To change the occasion, enter the exact greeting you want, such as “Happy Anniversary”.
3. Your message & names: enter everything you want beneath the main greeting, including the recipient's name, your message and who it is from. Include “Dear”, “Love from” or a date only if you want those words engraved. Enter “None” for no bottom message.

Top wording: With Love / For a Special Girlfriend
Main greeting: Happy Valentine's Day
Message & names: Dear Faye, / You are my favourite person. / Love always, James

Use a new line or a slash to separate your preferred lines. We arrange the wording to suit the space; longer messages may need smaller lettering. Check all names, spelling and punctuation before adding your card to the basket. The names and messages in the photographs are examples and will not be copied automatically.

Choose a classic personalised Valentine's card for your other half, celebrate your first Valentine's Day together, or change the greeting for an anniversary or birthday. A short thank-you, a shared memory or a few words that only the two of you understand can make it personal. The red heart design and your selected lettering remain, while the wording can change for the person receiving it.

What you receive & how to display it

Your order includes one personalised wooden card and one wooden display base. The two designs shown in the comparison photograph are lettering options; they are not a set of two cards. Place the card into the slot in the base on a flat, stable surface. Flowers, candles and other styling props are not included.

Keep your card indoors and dry. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid soaking or abrasive cleaning. This is a decorative keepsake, not a toy.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change “Girlfriend” to Wife, Husband or Boyfriend?

Yes. Enter the complete top wording you want in the Recipient & top wording field. You can use a relationship, a name or your own short heading.

Can I change “Happy Valentine's Day”?

Yes. Enter your exact replacement in the Main greeting field. Leave it blank to keep “Happy Valentine's Day”. This lets you order the heart design as a wooden anniversary card or a birthday keepsake too.

Can I write my own message?

Yes. Enter the full bottom message and any names or sign-off in Your message & names. We engrave the wording you provide, so include every word you want shown.

Will I receive the message and names in the photographs?

No. Those are examples of the layout. Please supply your own top wording and bottom message. Only the main greeting defaults to “Happy Valentine's Day” when its field is blank.

What if I do not want a top heading or bottom message?

Enter “None” in the relevant field. We will leave that section without personalised text; the heart design and main greeting remain.

What is the difference between the two font styles?

Style 1 uses Bold Script for the main greeting. Style 2 uses Flowing Script. Compare both in the gallery before choosing. Smaller wording is arranged to stay readable and does not use the large greeting lettering throughout.

Does the card open, and is the stand included?

It is a single rigid wooden plaque rather than a folding card. One wooden stand is included so it can be displayed upright.

Will every card look exactly the same?

The design stays the same, but natural wood grain, shade and hand-painted details can vary slightly. Your message length also affects the final text arrangement.
