Personalised Pet Emergency Card

It is a small card you carry with you to let someone know that you have pets at home. If you are unable to explain this yourself in an emergency, the engraved message asks them to contact your nominated person about your pets.

You will receive one physical, laser-engraved wooden card made with your personalisation details. This is not a PDF, digital file, printable template, plastic card or keyring.

Enter the name and phone number of a trusted person who has agreed to help care for your pets, rather than your pet’s name. Check that they know where your pets live and how they would gain access if needed.

Complete the three required fields: your chosen animal design, your emergency contact’s name, and their phone number. Use the optional notes field for a preferred heading, a preview request or an agreed design change. Check spelling, capitals and every digit before adding the card to your basket.

Yes. Enter “Dog” in the Animal design field for a “MY DOG IS HOME ALONE” card with a dog illustration and your emergency contact details. Add any preferred heading in the optional notes field.

Yes. Enter “Cat” in the Animal design field for a “MY CAT IS HOME ALONE” card with a cat illustration and your emergency contact details. Add any preferred heading in the optional notes field.

Yes, different animal designs are available on request, including rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots and hamsters. Specify your animal when ordering. Please contact us before buying if you have an unusual species or a particular illustration in mind.

Yes. You can request “MY PETS ARE HOME ALONE” in the optional notes field and choose a design shown in the photos. The wording does not mean that a separate illustration of every pet is included. Please contact us before ordering a different combination or additional animal illustrations.

The examples show engraved animal illustrations, not bespoke photo portraits. You are welcome to ask about a particular breed or design before ordering, but please do not assume that an exact likeness or a photograph-based portrait is included.

We can discuss changes to the text. Add simple requests in the optional notes field, or contact us before ordering for longer wording or a different language. The available space is limited, so the layout needs to keep the emergency contact details readable.

Please contact us first. The standard layout shown has one emergency contact name and phone number. A second contact, an address or detailed care instructions would need a layout check; do not assume that extra text or engraving on the reverse is included.

Yes. Enter it exactly as you would like it engraved, including the country code and any spaces you need. The phone field accepts text, so a leading zero or a “+” can be retained. Please double-check the number with your emergency contact.

A design preview is available on request. Contact us before ordering, or request a preview in the notes and look out for our reply. Production may need to wait for your approval, which can affect dispatch time.

The card measures approximately 75 mm wide × 55 mm high and is cut from 3 mm birch plywood. It has rounded corners and laser-engraved details. Natural grain, wood shade and the colour of the laser-cut edge can vary from card to card.

Check your compartment against the 75 × 55 × 3 mm dimensions before ordering. This is rigid wood and is thicker than a bank card. It may suit a roomier wallet or purse compartment, but it is not guaranteed to fit every card slot or phone case. Do not force or bend it.

It is a wooden product, not a waterproof plastic card. Keep it dry, avoid soaking, bending and heavy pressure, and wipe gently with a dry soft cloth. Replace the card if damage makes the message or contact details difficult to read.

No. It provides information if someone finds and reads it; it does not automatically send an alert, arrange care or guarantee a response. Agree a practical care plan with your emergency contact and keep the details on the card up to date.

The price is for one personalised card. Photographs showing several designs illustrate the choices, not a multipack. For different contacts or animal designs, personalise and add each card to your basket separately. Increase the quantity only when the details should be identical.

We aim to dispatch on the same working day where possible, and no later than the next working day after payment and complete personalisation details are received. A requested preview or design change can take longer. Standard UK delivery is free; small orders usually travel by Royal Mail 2nd Class, estimated at 2–4 working days after dispatch, not guaranteed. Please contact us as soon as you notice a spelling or phone-number error, ideally before production begins. Once the details have been engraved, they cannot simply be edited on the card.
