A personalised wooden key for your first Christmas

• Three personalisation styles: choose Names, Family Name or Street Address.
• Your chosen year: the four-digit year is cut into the key design. The photos show 2026; you can choose another year.
• Laser-cut and engraved: made from natural 3 mm birch plywood, with a warm wood grain and darker cut edges.
• Ready to hang: a cream ribbon is included.
• Size: approximately 13 cm tall × 6 cm wide, excluding the ribbon.
• Made in Hull, UK: created to order by our small family business.

How to personalise your new home bauble

1. Choose your personalisation style from the dropdown.
2. Enter the text for that style exactly as you would like it engraved. See the examples below.
3. Enter your four-digit Christmas year in the separate year box, for example 2026.
4. Check the spelling and year before adding your keepsake to your basket.

• Names: enter one or more first names, for example John & Victoria. Please include the joining word or symbol you want, such as “&” or “and”.
• Family Name: enter the complete wording, for example The Williams Family. Include “The” and “Family” if you want them engraved.
• Street Address: enter the house number and street name, for example 41 Victoria Way. You do not need a postcode or full postal address.

The wording “1st Christmas in our new home” is part of the design and is included automatically. Each ornament has one personalisation style. Enter its text and year separately. We arrange the wording to fit; line breaks and letter size may vary.

For different wording or an unusually long name or address, please contact us before ordering so we can check the layout.

A thoughtful new home Christmas gift

Give it as a housewarming gift for new homeowners or keep one to remember your own family's first festive season at a new address.

What is included and how to care for it

You will receive one personalised wooden key ornament with a cream hanging ribbon. Gift wrapping, other decorations and props shown in the photographs are for styling. Natural wood grain and colour vary from piece to piece; each keepsake will have its own finish.

For indoor decorative use. Keep it dry, wipe gently with a soft dry cloth and store flat between Christmases. This decoration is not a toy.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose a year other than 2026?

Yes. Enter your chosen four-digit year in the year box. You can mark a past move or an upcoming first Christmas.

Can I personalise it with names, a family name or an address?

Yes. Choose one of the three styles, then enter the matching details. Examples are “John & Victoria”, “The Williams Family” and “41 Victoria Way”. The year is entered separately.

Do I need to type “The” and “Family”?

For the Family Name style, please enter the full wording you want, including “The” and “Family” if required. We use the wording you supply.

Do I need to add the Christmas message?

No. “1st Christmas in our new home” is included automatically. You only need to provide your names, family wording or street address and your chosen year.

Is this a round bauble or a flat decoration?

It is a flat wooden key-shaped tree decoration, approximately 13 × 6 cm and 3 mm thick. It is made from birch plywood rather than glass or ceramic.

Is the hanging ribbon included?

Yes, a cream ribbon is included so your personalised ornament is ready to hang.

Can I order it for someone renting their first home?

Yes, it suits a bought or rented home. The standard message uses “our new home”; contact us before ordering for different wording.

Can I see a preview or request a wording change?

Please contact us before ordering for a preview or different wording. Previews are available on request rather than automatically sent.

When will my order be dispatched?

We usually dispatch the next working day after receiving your complete details. Free standard UK delivery and faster upgrades are available; arrival depends on the service selected.

What if I spot a spelling mistake after ordering?

Contact us as soon as possible. We can check whether production has started and whether a change is still possible.
