Personalised School Medals

A proper superstar moment for every pupil. These personalised school medals turn a well done into something children can wear for their celebration and keep afterwards. Each natural wooden star is engraved with a name, the message You are a Superstar and delicate star details, then finished with your choice of satin ribbon.

Measuring approximately 11 × 11 cm, the star has a generous face for the personalised design. Choose one medal for a special achievement or a class pack for school leavers, end-of-term presentations and pupil rewards. One medal is £4, with lower prices per medal in larger packs and free UK delivery included.

Personalised school medals for their big moment

A named medal makes the presentation feel personal. It can celebrate effort, kindness, progress, a completed school year or the move to a new class. The Superstar message works for the whole group, while each pupil receives their own name. Use the medals for an end-of-year assembly, a class celebration, a school leaving photo or a well-earned reward.

The wooden star, flowing name engraving and soft satin ribbon create a keepsake that can be put away with school photographs and memories after the day. Choose a matching ribbon colour for your class or mix the three available colours within a pack.

Class packs and bulk prices

The table shows the full price for each pack and the cost per personalised medal. Name engraving and ribbons are included. Every pack contains the same 11 × 11 cm stars; a lower unit price does not change the size or finish.

The quantity selector counts packs. For 30 medals, select Pack of 30 and leave quantity at 1. For more than 100 medals, or an exact class quantity that is not listed, contact us for a custom offer with your quantity, ribbon choices and date needed.

How to personalise your school medals

1. Choose Ribbon Colour. Select Cream, Pink or Blue for one colour across the pack, or Mixed ribbons for a combination.
2. Choose Pack Size. Select the total number of medals you need and check the pack total.
3. Enter Names for your medals. Add one name per medal, on separate lines or separated by commas. Your list must match the selected pack size.
4. For Mixed ribbons, add a colour beside every name. For example: Oliver - Blue; Amelia - Pink; Noah - Cream. Only Pink, Blue and Cream are available.
5. Complete Different wording only if you want to replace the message. Leave it blank for You are a Superstar. For a replacement, enter the exact short wording and tell us which names it applies to.
6. Check everything before checkout. Confirm spelling, capitals, accents, ribbon colours, the number of names and how many packs you are buying.

Standard design example:
Names for your medals: Oliver, Amelia, Noah
Different wording: leave blank
We engrave each name with You are a Superstar.

Mixed-ribbon example:
Oliver - Blue
Amelia - Pink
Noah - Cream

Replacement wording examples:
All medals: Class of 2027
Or: Amelia - Keep shining; all other names - You are a Superstar

Names shown in the photographs are examples. We use the names and any replacement wording supplied in your order. We do not automatically add a class, year, teacher name or school name. Longer names and messages may need adjusted lettering size and spacing. If you need a particular arrangement or a more detailed design, please contact us before ordering; a preview is available on request.

Choose a ribbon for your class

Cream is a neutral choice for a coordinated class presentation. Pink and Blue add soft colour to the natural wooden stars. Choose Mixed ribbons when pupils need different colours, and specify a colour against every name so the right ribbon is supplied with each medal.

Ribbon colours can appear slightly different on different screens and in different lighting. The star remains natural birch; the colour choice applies to the ribbon.

Materials, finish and care

Each star is laser cut from 3 mm birch plywood and engraved with a dark, readable design. Natural grain and wood tone vary from medal to medal, and the cut edge is darker than the face. Those small differences are part of the wooden finish. The listed dimensions describe the wooden star itself and exclude the ribbon.

Keep the medal dry and dust with a soft, dry cloth. Use under adult supervision during presentations and photographs. Remove the ribbon before sleep or active play, and do not leave children wearing it unsupervised. This is a keepsake accessory, not a toy. Styling props and certificates shown in photographs are not included.

Dispatch and delivery

We aim to dispatch on the next working day once complete names, ribbon choices and wording are received. Larger orders, missing details or a requested preview may need extra preparation time. If you have an assembly, graduation or leaving celebration date in mind, please check with us before ordering. Free standard UK delivery is included; dispatch and delivery are separate stages and arrival dates are estimates.

Frequently asked questions

How big is each wooden star medal?

Each star measures approximately 11 × 11 cm, measured across the wooden shape, excluding the ribbon. The birch plywood is 3 mm thick. This is the size supplied for every pack on this listing.

What is included in the £4 single-medal price?

One 11 cm wooden star medal, an engraved name, the standard You are a Superstar message and your chosen satin ribbon. Individual name engraving and free UK delivery are included. Photo props are not supplied.

Can every medal in my class pack have a different name?

Yes. Enter one name per medal in the required personalisation box. The total number of names should match the pack you select. There is no extra charge for different names within the same pack.

Which ribbon colours can I choose?

Choose Cream, Pink or Blue for one ribbon colour throughout your pack. Select Mixed ribbons if you would like a combination, then add the required colour beside each name. Only those three ribbon colours are available.

How do I order mixed ribbon colours?

Select Mixed ribbons and write, for example, Oliver - Blue; Amelia - Pink; Noah - Cream. Continue until every name has a colour. The total must match your selected pack. If a colour is missing, we will need to confirm it before production.

Can I change You are a Superstar to my own wording?

Yes. Use Different wording (optional) for a short replacement message. Tell us whether it applies to all medals or specify the relevant names. Leave that box empty for the pictured standard message. Long wording may need smaller lettering; please contact us first about a detailed design.

Can you add a class name, year or teacher message?

A short class name, year or message can replace the standard wording. Enter exactly what you want engraved in the optional wording box. We do not add a year, school name, teacher name or extra line unless you request it.

Which pack sizes are available?

Choose 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 75 or 100 medals. The price shown for your selected option is the complete pack total. Each larger tier has a lower price per medal, and all medals remain the same 11 cm size.

Does quantity 1 mean one medal or one pack?

The quantity selector counts packs. If you choose Pack of 30 and set quantity to 1, you receive 30 medals. Quantity 2 means two packs of 30, so please supply 60 names or clearly state that the same 30 names should be repeated.

Can I order more than 100 medals or an exact class quantity?

Please contact us for a custom offer if you need more than 100 or an exact quantity that is not listed. Tell us the number of medals, ribbon choices, wording and date needed before placing the order.

Can I order a single medal before buying for a class?

Yes. Choose 1 medal to order one personalised medal for £4. You can use it for one pupil, a reward or to see the product before placing a larger order. A single medal is a paid order, with the same size and finish as the bulk packs.

Can I see a design preview?

A preview is available on request. Please contact us before production if you want to check a replacement message or an unusual name layout. A preview is not sent automatically for every order.

Will long or hyphenated names fit?

We adjust lettering size and spacing to suit each name. Enter hyphens, accents, capitals and spelling exactly as required. For very long names or a specific layout, contact us before ordering so we can check the available space.

Are these suitable for school leavers and end-of-term gifts?

Yes. They are designed as named keepsakes for class celebrations, end-of-term awards, school leavers and pupil achievements. The standard message is not tied to a particular year, subject or class, so you can use it for the occasion you choose.

What are the medals made from?

They are laser cut and engraved from natural 3 mm birch plywood, with satin ribbon. The wood grain, tone and dark cut edges are part of the natural finish, so individual medals may vary slightly.

When will my order be dispatched?

Our usual aim is next working day dispatch once complete personalisation has been received. A large class order or a request for a preview can take longer. If you need medals for a specific assembly or leaving date, contact us before ordering. Dispatch time is separate from delivery time.

Is UK delivery included?

Yes, standard UK delivery is included in the listed single and pack prices. Delivery dates are estimates. For a deadline or a different delivery destination, check the available checkout options or contact us before ordering.

How should children wear and care for the medal?

Use under adult supervision for a celebration or photograph. The ribbon must not be worn during sleep, active play or unsupervised use. This wooden keepsake is not a toy. Keep it dry, wipe gently with a dry soft cloth and store away from moisture.

Can I correct a name after ordering?

Contact us straight away. We can update details if production has not started. Please check your entire name list before checkout, as we engrave the spelling you supply. Contact us promptly if there is a problem with your order.
