A round wooden football stands beside it on the same slim base, with deep brown-black engraved patches that contrast with the pale natural birch. How to personalise your football plaque

1. Choose the holder option. Select No for the wooden keepsake without a banknote holder, or Yes to include the small wooden ring that holds a rolled banknote. The goal plaque, football and base come with both options.
2. Add your heading and recipient. Enter the complete first line, such as “Happy Birthday Mike!”, “Happy Birthday Dad!” or “Thank you Coach!”.
3. Write your main message. Add the words you want engraved in the centre of the goal. We arrange the wording centrally to suit the available space.
4. Add an optional sign-off. For example, “Love, Amelia x”, “From Ella & Max” or “From the whole team”. Leave this field blank if you do not want a sign-off.
5. Check your details. Please check spelling, names, capital letters and punctuation before ordering. The names and wording in the photographs are examples.

Optional banknote holder

Choose Yes if you would like to include a small wooden ring for presenting a rolled banknote on the right-hand side of the base. It is a way to add money to a birthday or thank-you gift while keeping the personalised message visible. Choose No if you would prefer the football keepsake on its own.

Size, materials and display

The keepsake measures approximately 18.5 cm wide by 7.5 cm high and is cut from 3 mm birch plywood. The set includes the personalised message plaque, football and slotted base, plus the banknote holder when selected. The upright pieces fit into the slots in the base for display.

Natural grain, darker cut edges and subtle differences in engraving tone are part of the character of wood. Keep the keepsake indoors and dry, avoid soaking, and wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. This is a decorative keepsake rather than a toy.

Can I change all of the wording?

Yes. The heading, recipient, central message and sign-off can all be personalised. Enter the exact wording you want in the fields provided.

Is the money holder included?

Only when you choose Yes under Money Holder Included. Select No for the keepsake without the small banknote ring. Both options include the goal plaque, football and base.

Does the gift come with money?

No. The £20 note in the photographs demonstrates how the optional ring can be used. You can add your own banknote before giving the gift.

Can I make this a gift for a football coach?

Yes. Use a heading such as “Thank you Coach!” and add your own team message and sign-off. You can personalise it for a named coach too.

Can it be personalised for Dad or another family member?

Yes. Enter the recipient's name or family title in your heading. The examples are suggestions, so you can choose wording that suits your relationship and occasion.

Do I need to include a sign-off?

No. The sign-off field is optional. Leave it blank if you only want the heading and main message.
