It's a Boy Gender Reveal Plaque

Share your baby boy news with a personalised It's a Boy gender reveal plaque. The round wooden sign combines soft blue raised lettering, dark engraved details and a leafy design, making a lovely focal point for announcement photographs, a gender reveal celebration or a baby shower.

Add your due date or a short message to make the moment your own, then keep the plaque as a reminder of the day you shared your news.

A little sign for a big announcement

• Raised blue “boy” lettering: painted wooden letters give the design a layered finish against the natural wood.
• Dark engraved details: “IT'S A”, the leafy branch and your optional personalised line are engraved into the plaque.
• Personal to your family: add a due month and year, a date or a short message beneath the raised word.
• Three sizes: choose a compact photo prop or a larger plaque for your announcement setup.
• A keepsake after the reveal: display indoors with your pregnancy photographs or store with your baby memories.

Choose your style

It's a Boy: the blue raised “boy” design shown in the main photographs.

It's a Girl: the matching pink raised “girl” design, available in the style selector and shown in the additional photographs.

Double Sided: both designs on opposite sides of one plaque — Boy on one side and Girl on the other. Select Double Sided if you want both reveal messages; this option is not a set of two separate plaques.

Sizes

• Regular: approximately 12 × 12 cm.
• Medium: approximately 17 × 17 cm.
• XL: approximately 20 × 20 cm.

Each plaque is round; the measurements describe its overall width and height. Compare the sizes with your planned photograph or display before ordering. Styling props in the photographs are not included.

How to personalise your plaque

1. Choose your style: It's a Girl, It's a Boy or Double Sided.
2. Choose your size: Regular, Medium or XL.
3. Enter only the line you want engraved in the personalisation box. For a due-date design, type the complete wording, for example Due July 2026. Include “Due” if you want that word shown.
4. For a short message, enter the exact words you would like in place of the due-date line. Please contact us before ordering if you need a longer message or a particular layout.
5. For Double Sided, tell us which text belongs on each side if you want different wording, for example Girl: Due July 2026 / Boy: Due July 2026. If you supply one line, it is used on both sides.
6. Check your spelling, month and year before adding to your basket.

Prefer no personalised line? Leave the box empty. The selected Girl or Boy design and leafy engraving remain; no due date or message is added. “Due July 2026” in the photographs and example is sample wording, not text automatically added to your order. You do not need to repeat “It's a Girl” or “It's a Boy” in this box: choose that design using the style selector.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add my own due date?

Yes. Enter the complete wording in the personalisation box, such as “Due July 2026”. The year shown in the photographs is an example; please supply your own details.

Can I have a message instead of a date?

Yes, you can request a short message for the engraved line. Enter the exact wording and contact us first if you need a longer message or a specific arrangement.

Is the plaque automatically double sided?

No. Choose Double Sided in the style selector to receive Girl and Boy on opposite sides of one plaque. The individual It's a Girl and It's a Boy options are separate design choices.

What happens if I leave the personalisation box blank?

No due date or custom message is added. The main reveal design and leafy detail are still included.

Are the letters printed or raised?

The large pink “girl” or blue “boy” word is made from raised painted wooden lettering. The smaller text and leafy detail are engraved into the natural wooden plaque.

Which size should I choose?

Regular is approximately 12 cm across, Medium 17 cm and XL 20 cm. Choose according to how you plan to hold, photograph or display your plaque; use the stated measurements rather than the scale of props in styled photographs.

Can I use it for a baby shower or pregnancy announcement?

Yes. It can be held for announcement photographs, styled for a gender reveal or used as a decorative detail at a baby shower. Afterwards, keep it with your pregnancy memories.

How should I look after it?

Keep the wooden plaque dry and display indoors. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. It is a decorative keepsake and photo prop, not a toy; keep it out of a baby's reach.
