The wooden shape is cut as one flat piece. The hat, scarf, face, bell and hoof details are engraved into the surface, with the chosen name centred on the lower belly. The bell is part of the engraved artwork, rather than a separate metal attachment.

How to personalise your reindeer bauble

1. Enter ONE name in “Name to engrave”. For example, Amelia, Oliver or Noah. Enter just the name, without “Name:”, a year or a message.
2. Check the exact spelling, capitals and punctuation. Include any hyphen or apostrophe as you want it engraved. We use the lettering style shown in the photos and adjust its size to suit the available space.
3. Keep additional instructions in “Order notes (optional)”. These notes are for your order and are not automatically engraved.
4. Add different names separately. Add the first personalised reindeer to your basket, then return to the page and enter the next name. Increasing the quantity on one item orders identical baubles with that name.

Example: enter Amelia and choose quantity 1 to receive one reindeer engraved with Amelia, complete with a sage green ribbon. For Amelia and Oliver, add one item for Amelia and a separate item for Oliver.

The standard design includes one name on the front. Please contact us before ordering if you would like extra wording, a year or a different layout, so we can confirm what will fit.

Dimensions, material and what is included

This is a flat hanging decoration with no stand. Each reindeer is sold individually. The photograph with three names shows personalisation examples; gift boxes, wrapping, greenery and other styling accessories are not included.

Natural wood, made personal

The name and decorative details are engraved directly into the birch plywood. The pale wooden surface retains its natural grain, with a darker laser-cut edge defining the shape. Small differences in grain, knots, shade and engraving tone mean each piece has its own markings.

Photos show the design and overall finish; the exact wood pattern will vary. Longer names may use smaller lettering, centred within the available space. This is a decoration rather than a toy, so hang it securely out of young children's reach.

Dispatch and care

We aim to dispatch on the same working day where possible, and no later than the next working day after payment and complete personalisation details are received. Keep your wooden reindeer indoors and dry. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Store flat with protective wrapping between Christmases, taking care around the antlers, ears and hanging loop.

What size is the reindeer bauble?

It measures approximately 15 cm high × 9.2 cm wide × 3 mm thick. Height includes the wooden hanging loop but excludes the ribbon. Width is measured across the widest part of the shape.

Where is the name engraved?

The name is engraved on the front of the lower belly, beneath the bell and scarf. We centre it in the available space using the handwritten lettering style shown in the photographs.

Are the name and ribbon included in the price?

Yes. Each item includes one wooden reindeer ornament, one engraved name and a sage green satin hanging ribbon.

Is the name printed, engraved or raised?

The name is laser engraved directly into the wood. The face, hat, scarf, bell and hoof details are also engraved. There are no stickers or separate raised name letters.

Can I order different names for my children or family?

Yes. Personalise and add each reindeer separately. Add the first name to your basket, then repeat for the next person. Increase the quantity only when you want several baubles with the same name.

Will a long or double-barrelled name fit?

We adjust the lettering size to suit the name and engraving space. Longer names may appear smaller. Please enter the exact spelling and punctuation, including any hyphen or apostrophe.

Can I add a year or a message?

The standard design includes one name, with no year or extra message. Please contact us before ordering if you want additional wording or a different layout. Optional order notes are not automatically engraved.

Can I choose a different ribbon colour?

This listing comes with the sage green satin ribbon shown in the photos. There is no ribbon colour selection to complete.

Is the three-name photograph a set of three?

No. Amelia, Oliver and Noah are examples of the personalisation. The price is for one reindeer with one name and its ribbon.

Can it be a baby's first Christmas keepsake?

Yes, a baby's name can be engraved for their first Christmas. The standard design has no year or “First Christmas” wording, so it can remain part of their decorations as they grow. Keep it out of the baby's reach.

Does the reindeer stand up, and does the bell ring?

It is designed to hang from its ribbon, with a flat back and no stand. The bell is engraved into the wood as part of the design and does not ring.

When will my personalised ornament be dispatched?
