The number means which baby you are expecting, not the total number of people in your household. If you already have two children and are expecting your third, choose Baby #3. For your fourth baby, choose Baby #4. The numbers and dates in the gallery are examples; your plaque will use the details you provide.

Natural wood, individually engraved

Your plaque is made from 3 mm birch plywood. The light wood grain gives each piece its own character, while the engraved wording and botanical detail create the finished design.

Wood is a natural material, so grain patterns, colour and engraving shades can vary between pieces and from the photographs. Screen settings and lighting can also affect how the wood appears. These variations are part of the material rather than a printed finish.

What is included?

Your order includes one personalised wooden plaque in your selected size. The ultrasound prints, booties, blankets, flowers and other styling props shown in the gallery are not included. This is a physical product, not a digital download.

The scan is a separate photo prop. It is not engraved onto the wood, and you do not need to send us an ultrasound image to order this design.

Care, handling and dispatch

Keep the plaque dry and indoors. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth; do not soak it or use wet cleaning products. Store it flat and protect the engraved face from scratches when putting it away.

This is a decorative photo prop and keepsake, not a toy. Use it under adult supervision and keep it out of a baby's cot, crib or other sleep space.

Yes. Enter the baby number you would like engraved, together with your due month and year. Baby #3 and Baby #4 are examples, so you can choose the number that fits your own pregnancy announcement.

2. Does the number mean my baby number or our family size?

It means the number of the baby you are expecting. If you have two children and are expecting another, enter Baby #3. Do not add the parents or other adults when working out this number.

3. What exactly should I type in the personalisation box?

Enter both details in one line, for example Baby #3, May 2027. We use these details for the central baby-number wording and the due date below it. Please check the year as well as the month.

4. Do I need to type “Baby”, “Due” and the hashtag?

You can enter the complete example format, such as Baby #3, May 2027. The finished design includes Baby #3 and Due May 2027, so those words will not be repeated if you include them in your instructions.

5. Is “One more to adore” included automatically?

Yes. “One more to adore” and the botanical sprigs are included as part of this design. The baby number and due month and year are personalised for you.

6. Can I use a surname or baby's name instead?

This listing is designed around your baby number. For a surname or name-based announcement, please contact us before ordering so we can help you find a suitable design or discuss your request.

7. Do I need to upload my scan?

No. No scan upload is required. The scan print in the photographs is a separate styling prop, and your order is for the engraved wooden plaque only. You can add your own scan print when taking your photograph.

8. Will my scan be engraved onto the plaque?

No. This design has the “One more to adore” message, your baby number, due month and year, and botanical decoration. It does not include photo engraving.

9. Is this suitable for a sibling announcement?

Yes. It is a lovely way to involve older siblings when announcing another baby. A child can hold the plaque with an adult's help, or you can place it in front of the family for a photograph. Please supervise children throughout.

10. Can I use it to tell grandparents?

Yes. Show it to them in person, hold it up during a video call, or take a photograph to send privately. Your baby number and due date make the announcement personal to your family.

11. Which size should I choose?

12. Are the letters raised or engraved?

The lettering and botanical design are laser engraved directly into 3 mm birch plywood. This design does not have separate raised name letters.

13. Will my plaque look exactly like the gallery example?

The design will follow the style shown, with your chosen baby number and date. Grain patterns, wood tones and engraving shades can vary naturally. The layout may be adjusted to keep your wording balanced and readable.

14. Can I request a preview before engraving?

Yes, a preview is available on request. Please contact us before production with your order details. We may need to wait for your approval, which can affect the dispatch date.

15. Can you use a different date format or change the layout?

The standard format is Due followed by your month and year, as shown in the photographs. Please contact us before ordering if you would like a different date format, wording or layout so we can confirm what is possible.

16. What if my due month changes after I order?

Contact us as soon as possible. We can help with changes before production begins. Once your plaque has been engraved, the date cannot be edited on the existing piece.

17. How quickly will my order be sent?

We aim to dispatch on the next working day. Delivery time is additional and depends on your selected postage service. For a date-sensitive announcement, please contact us before ordering rather than relying on an arrival date shown in a styled photograph or review.

18. Can I change a mistake in my personalisation?

Please contact us immediately if you notice an incorrect baby number, month or year. Changes are possible before production begins. We cannot alter engraving once the plaque has been made, so checking your details before checkout is important.

19. What comes with the plaque?

You receive one personalised wooden plaque in the size you choose. Scan prints, booties, blankets and other accessories in the gallery are styling props and are not included. A stand is not included.

20. How should I store it after the announcement?

Keep it indoors in a dry place, stored flat with the engraved surface protected from scratches. You can save it with your pregnancy photographs or family keepsakes. Keep it away from moisture and out of reach of babies.
