There are three options: Small, Large and XL. Small suits a close photograph with a scan print; Large gives the surname more presence in a styled arrangement; XL is useful when the sign needs to stand out in a wider photograph. Wood grain and engraving tone vary naturally from piece to piece. The design is engraved into the surface rather than made from raised lettering. Care and display

Keep your plaque dry and wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking it or using cleaning sprays. This is a decorative photo prop and keepsake, not a toy or teether. An adult should position and hold it during photographs; keep it out of a baby's cot and away from unsupervised children.

Can I use a surname instead of a baby's first name?

Yes. A surname is the focus of this design, so you can share your expected arrival without revealing a first name. Enter your chosen surname in the name field.

Do I need to enter the word BABY?

No. BABY is included in the standard layout. Enter just your surname or chosen name, then add the arrival date in its own field.

Can I change ARRIVING to DUE?

Yes. Enter your preferred short replacement in the optional wording field. Leave it blank to keep ARRIVING.

Can I use just a month and year?

Yes. Enter the date exactly as you want it engraved, such as April 2027. Please check the year as well as the month.

Can you engrave a double-barrelled surname?

Yes. Include the hyphen and capital letters exactly as required. Longer names may be reduced in size to keep the text within the circular design. You can request a preview before production.

Will my plaque look exactly like the photographs?

The layout follows the design shown, with your own details. Birch grain, the shade of the wood and engraving tone can vary. Different name lengths also affect the amount of space around the lettering.

Does it include the scan picture or baby accessories?

No. The listing is for one personalised wooden sign. All other items are photography props.

How do I select the right size?

Can I see a preview?

Yes, previews are available on request. Please contact us with your surname, date and any wording change, and ask for a preview before production begins.

Can I change my details after ordering?

Contact us as soon as possible. Changes can be made before production starts, but personalised items cannot be returned for a change of mind after dispatch. If your sign arrives damaged or with an error, please contact us with a photograph.
