How to personalise your balloon name sign

1. Choose the name colour. Select one of the 14 painted finishes for the raised first name. The full labelled swatch chart is in the gallery.
2. Choose the size and ribbon. Under “Balloon Size and Ribbon Colour”, select Small, Large or XL with either a Pink or Blue ribbon.
3. Enter the first name. This becomes the large raised wooden name. Include any capital letters and hyphens exactly as you want them.
4. Add optional extra names. Enter middle names and the surname in their separate fields. These are engraved, rather than made in raised lettering. Leave either field blank if it is not needed.
5. Check your choices. Review the spelling, name colour, size and ribbon before adding the sign to your basket.

The standard engraved greeting is included; you do not need to type “Hello World” or “my name is” in the name fields. Example names in the gallery and field prompts are for guidance only. For a different greeting, an unusually long name or a precise layout, contact us before ordering. A preview is available on request.

Fourteen painted name colours

Pastels: Pastel Pink, Pastel Blue and Light Violet.
Neutrals and metallic: White, Grey, Brown, Beige and Gold.
Colourful finishes: Dark Pink, Red, Orange, Sage Green, Forest Green and Purple.

The colour option applies to the raised first name. The balloon remains natural wood, with dark engraved wording. Ribbon colour is a separate choice within the size-and-ribbon option. Choose your balloon size

Sizes refer to the wooden balloon and exclude the loose ribbon. The base is made from 3 mm birch plywood, with a separate raised wooden name. As wood is a natural material, grain and tone vary between signs. Longer names are scaled to fit, so lettering size can differ from the examples.

Dispatch and care

We usually dispatch on the next working day once the names and any requested details are confirmed. Delivery times depend on your chosen checkout service; please ask before ordering if you need the sign for a particular date.

Care and display: keep the sign dry and handle the raised lettering gently. This is a decorative keepsake and supervised photography prop, not a toy. Keep the ribbon and small decorative parts away from babies and children, and remove the sign after photographs.
