Choose your wedding colours

Choose Unpainted for the natural wood finish, or one of our painted options: Pastel Pink, Navy Blue, Pastel Blue, White, Beige, Black, Brown, Gold, Grey, Light Violet, Purple, Red, Forest Green, Sage Green, Orange, Silver or Yellow.

Gold and Silver have a metallic painted finish on wood. The colour chart shows the complete palette; screens, lighting and the natural material can make colours appear slightly different in person. View all 18 finishes.

How to personalise your place names

1. Select your Pack Size. Choose 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 or 100 individual names. The displayed price is for the selected pack.
2. Choose your Colour. This applies to every name unless you specify a colour mix in your personalisation.
3. Enter your guest names. Use one name per line or separate them with commas. Include every name you need, with repeated names listed separately.
4. Check your list before checkout. The number of names must match the total number of pieces you are ordering. Check spelling, capitalisation and punctuation carefully.

This order gives you five personalised Sage Green wooden names. Keep the cart Quantity at 1 for one pack; Quantity 2 of a pack of 10 means 20 pieces in total.

For a mix of painted colours: choose a painted colour option and write the colour beside every name, for example: Marnie – Sage Green, Freddie – Gold, Soraya – White, John – Black, Emma – Pastel Pink. Need a quantity that is not listed, more than 100 names, a different font, longer wording or another design detail? Contact us before ordering so we can check the request and any price difference. For a guest list that will not fit in the personalisation box, enter “Guest list to follow by email” and send the full list as copyable text or a spreadsheet to [email protected], quoting your order number.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in my order?

You receive the number of personalised wooden name cutouts in your selected pack, in your chosen finish. Pack Size 20 contains 20 individual names. Plates, napkins, menus, flowers, candles and other styling accessories shown in the photographs are not included.

Are these paper place cards or wooden names?

They are individual names laser cut from wood in connected script. The name itself forms the place setting decoration, which can be laid flat on a napkin or plate and kept by the guest afterwards.

Can every name in a pack be different?

Yes. A pack can contain a different name for every guest, the same name repeated, or a combination. List each required piece separately so the total is clear.

How do I order two guests with the same name?

Repeat the name in your list. For example, Emma, Emma, Freddie, John, Soraya is five pieces, including two separate Emma place names.

What does the cart Quantity mean?

Pack Size is the number of names in one pack. Cart Quantity is the number of packs. One pack of 50 with Quantity 1 gives you 50 pieces; Quantity 2 gives you 100 pieces. Your personalisation list should cover the total number of pieces ordered.

How large are the names?

They are approximately 3cm high. Width depends on the number of letters and the shape of the script, so John and Charlotte will have different widths. Please see the size guide; if you need a particular width or a different size, contact us first.

Which font will I receive?

The connected script shown in the product photographs is the standard design. There is no separate font choice for this listing. For a different font or lettering style, contact us before purchasing so we can check suitability.

Can I choose different colours within one pack?

Yes, for a mix of painted colours select a painted colour option and give a colour beside every name in the personalisation box. Use the colour names from the chart. If you leave colours out, we use the selected Colour for the whole pack. For a mix that includes Unpainted pieces, please contact us first.

Is Gold a metallic finish?

Gold and Silver are metallic painted finishes on wood. They have the character of painted wood and are not solid metal or mirror acrylic. Unpainted is the natural wood finish.

Can I use surnames, double-barrelled names or longer wording?

Please contact us before ordering longer names, surnames, hyphenated names or phrases such as Mother of the Bride. We will check how the wording works in the script and confirm any size or price adjustment before you purchase.

My guest list is too long for the box. What should I do?

Enter “Guest list to follow by email” in the required field. Then email a copyable list or spreadsheet to [email protected] with your order number. Include any colour allocation clearly so we can match every name to the correct finish.

Can I order a quantity that is not shown, or more than 100?

Yes, please contact us with your required quantity before ordering. We can check the guest list and provide the appropriate order details and price.

Can I change my names after ordering?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the corrected list. We will check whether the change can still be made. Please proofread carefully before checkout, as personalised names are made to your supplied details.

How soon should I order for my wedding?

Allow time for making and delivery, and check the current dispatch and delivery information on the product page and at checkout. If your event is soon, contact us with the date before ordering so we can check whether your deadline is achievable.

How should I handle and store the names?

Handle the connected lettering gently, supporting the whole name when moving it. Keep the pieces dry and store them flat until your celebration. A soft, dry cloth is suitable for removing light dust.

Can you make something more specific for my wedding?

For a custom font, a particular colour request, unusual wording, a different size or a larger order, get in touch before ordering. Tell us what you have in mind so we can confirm the design, availability and any additional cost.
